Casual brights + WIWW

Sweater: Target, Pants: J.Crew Factory, Sneakers: J.Crew, Bag: old-similar here, Studs: Tory Burch

I warned you guys I was going to overplay the crap out of my little turning a year old...
and so it happened. He's one.
A year come and gone.
I feel like I've covered this subject a thousand times.
{We get it, Elizabeth!}
But seriously. How do these babes grow SO fast?
It's bittersweet, so bittersweet.
I thought I my heart would burst with the intense love I felt for my son the day he was born.
But if it's possible, I really do love him more today than I did a year ago.
Yikes, that's scary. And awesome.
Happy one year baby boy!
Mama and Daddy love you so.

Pink, prints, and Blogger Nation.

Love Zahra / Upbeat Soles / Eat Pray Wear Love

Stone Necklace: Capwell and Kite Necklace: Capwell, c/o; Swing top: local purchase;
Tribal skinnies: local, love these and a few of my tribal picks herehere, and here; Clutch: here; Hat: here

Ok. I'll admit it.
I've majorly built up this big first birthday coming Tuesday for our baby boy.
I know this, I do.
But it's just cra-zy, y'all. Can't wrap my mind around it.
How has it been a year since they put that screaming, tiny bundle in my arms?
It's a little terrifying how quickly time pasts after a baby,
so bare with me as I soak up celebrating every minute of our Hugh this week:)

Have a great Monday and thanks for reading!
xoxo

A transitional look + WIWW Link-Up.

Shirt: J.Crew Factory; Shorts: Loft; Necklace: Capwell, c/o; Wedges: old, but almost identical here;
Clutch: {borrowed from a fab friend} Clare V; Hat: similar here

This is my go-to look for the random weather Alabama is known to have this time of year.
Hugh and I have been taking advantage of how warm it's been.
We love spending the afternoons outside, playing or strolling around the neighborhood.

I still can't believe that he will be one next week!
It's hard to remember what life was even like before him,
that sweet boy of mine.

Wedges: Sole Society, c/o; High-waist shorts: ASOS; Sweater: J.Crew; Button-up: J.Crew; Bow: old but in black here
Hugh's: Shirt: Old Navy; Pants: Old Navy; Moccs: Jane

I'm thrilled to begin a new series we're calling Blogger Nation.
I'm teaming up with a group of ladies, spread across the country,
to show you our take on our favorite spring trends.

I've always been a huge Sole Society fan!
Their shoes are beautiful, comfortable, and most importantly-affordable.
The wedge is such an important staple for the warmer months;
so when I ran across this Tammy wedge, I knew it was coming home to me;)
I love this shoe so much, I think I'm ordering another pair in a different color.
{Comes in four shades}

P.S. A certain little boy pictured above will be one next week. Help me!!
Haha. Have a great week!
